The kaffir lime is a rough, bumpy green fruit that grows on very thorny bush with aromatic and distinctively shaped “double” leaves. Its hourglass-shaped leaves are widely used in Thai cuisine. The leaves can be used fresh or dried, and can be stored frozen. This highly-valued plant is widely known as green herbs that can be used as herbal treatment and food seasoning.
