OYSTER MUSHROOM
Edible mushrooms are used extensively in cooking, in many cuisines (notably Chinese, European, and Japanese). Mushrooms are high in fiber and provide vitamins such as thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, biotin, cobalamins, ascorbic acid. Mushrooms also have significant sources of vitamin D which help the body to absorb minerals and strengthen the bone and teeth. In addition, mushrooms are a source of protein because there are lots of amino acids essential to human body. Mushrooms are also a source of some minerals, including iron, potassium phosphorous, and selenium which is an anti-carcinogen.
