BELL PEPPER
The color of bell pepper can be green, red, yellow and orange, depending on when they are harvested and the specific cultivar. Green peppers are unripe bell peppers, while the others are all ripe, with the color variation based on cultivar selection. Bell pepper is a fruit which absorbs a lot of water, has a sweet taste and provide a great source of vitamin C and beta carotene as well as Bioflavonoid. These elements are important for skin health, muscle and bones. Red bell pepper and Yellow bell pepper are filled with lots of carotenoid which released beta-carotene to human body. Green bell pepper comes with chlorophyll which helps prevent the risks from intestine cancer, enhancements of digestion and can be used for detoxification as well.
